Product Description

Freeform High index 1.74 Progressive lenses are for you if you have a really strong prescription and don't like the thick and bulky "coke bottle" look. These lenses work in a wide variety of frames and can be drilled into as well, so they'll work in drill mount frames which connect the lens to the tempal arm. High Index lenses are much more reflective than standard lenses, which is why we include an anti-glare coating free of charge. We also provide a free anti-scratch coating to theses lenses and our Freeform lenses will protect your eyes from UVA and UVB rays.

Options for These Lenses

You may add a tint to our Freeform High Index 1.74 lenses for fashion or to put them into your favorite sunglasses. All you need to do is check the tint option and select a color before adding these lenses to your cart. Another option is to make these lenses photochromic which means that they will stay clear indoors and get darker outside in the sunlight.

  1. First time to order and very happy with my lenses. 5 Star Review

Posted by on Nov 10th 2017

This was my first time to order lenses online. I have a very strong prescription. I had the lenses replaced in my previous frames (so now I have 2 pair of glasses available) and I am very pleased with the result. They are a little expensive, because of my prescription and astigmatism, but the glasses turned out great and I received them faster than I expected.

  2. Good Glasses 4 Star Review

I have a very strong prescription. I had the lenses replaced in my "backup" glasses and was very pleased with the result. They are a little expensive but the glasses turned out great.

  3. Strong, Thin Lenses 5 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 16th 2016

I have a strong prescription and require bifocals. I had these High Index 1.74 lenses made for my new glasses, and they are not only the thinnest that I have had since my prescription got so strong, but they seem to be the most optically perfect bifocals that I have ever had too. They are expensive, but worth the cost if they are to be your primary glasses. Highly recommended- as is the Lens Factory who made them.

  4. GOOD QUALITY 4 Star Review

Posted by on Mar 22nd 2016

The lenses are working great and I am so happy to have a second pair of progressive glasses for emergencies. I have a very strong prescription and the lens is thinner than I expected it to be.....so nice!! Thank you LENSFACTORY!

  5. Good quality and great price for non-insured 4 Star Review

Posted by on Jan 2nd 2015

The lenses work well and I adapted quickly. The mid vision corridor is not as wide as my other PALs but overall serve my vision well. The next test is the durability of the coatings and scratch resistance - they don't seem to repel dirt like my Hoyas, but I'm going to wait six to twelve months to evaluate these factors.

I was interested in the specific lens brand and process used in production of my lens; asked on the order form, but received no reply.

  6. Good Quality and Pricing 3 Star Review

Posted by on Apr 19th 2014

The lenses seem to be of good quality and the pricing was better than I found at any other place. I have a high power prescription which probably led to the long (almost 2 weeks) turnaround time.
